Who are we?
This webpage is the virtual headquarters of 2 amateur astronomers from Granada (south of Spain). Both have been very interested in astronomy since we were kids (in fact, we are members of the S.A.G. and recently we have been interested to begin in the field of astrophotography. In this pages we will update different contents related to astrophotography (from the very beginning, since we are complete newbies), astronomical D.I.Y., astronomical observations and so on. Zerjillo is assistant professor in the Software Engineering department in the University of Granada. Moreover, he is a member of the research group Soft Computing and Intelligent Information Systems. He studied Computer Science and obtained his Ph.D. in the same university.
Apart from his professional activities Zerjillo enjoys many different things. Among others, we can cite astronomy and since 2008, astrophotography. He also enjoys juggling (clubs and balls basically), reading (lots of science fiction and science outreach), music (mainly rock and heavy metal, but its open to other genres), traveling (as much as he cans) and doing some sports like swimming.
